Sony Vaio must use mouse as pad not working in Debian Wheezy

How can I make my pad work in Debian Wheezy so I don't need to attach a mouse to the laptop anymore?

did as told, seemed to install something but no change in the end (i already selected laptop to be installed at the installation process anyway). It remained as it was before (mouse was moving when finger moved on the pad but nothing happens when pad tapped or button clicked).

You have to go to mouse settings. The settings menu is in the menu under your name.
