many thanks for all the hints & help

first of all - a happy new year to all of you

just have installed opensuse version 13.2 on a Akoya P 6512 15" with AMD Athlon X2 P320, 2,10 GHz, 4 GB
during the installation i skipped the steps of configuring the network. I thougth that i can do this now.

but at the moment the wlan does not work at all.

i runned a script to test the condtions and the confiurations.

cf. http://www.linux-tips-and-tricks.de/de/schnellstart/

btw: have found some issues with the network configuration---..

i allways struggle with ifup and knetowkrmanager .... At the moment i only can run the notebook with the ethernet wire connected. No wlan is possible

what can i do now;

see some issues that i found out!

!!! CND0380E: no WLANs at Interface wlp4s0 found. the hardware and drivers are not well configured
what do you suggest

here the newest output of the above mentioned script collectDATA -

This is your wireless device and the correct kernel driver is being loaded.

Looking at the entries under ===== ls /lib/firmware/*.{fw,ucode,bin} in your listing, I suspect that you need to get a separate package that includes the non-free firmware for your device. This is an old post that may help. http://codeverge.com/opensuse.org.he...ealtek/1908114
