Slackware 9.0 Install Problem

I have a problem with installing slackware 9.0 that I hope someone can help me with. I downloaded the ISO, checked its MD5 checksum ( no problems so far. ). The installation went through perfectly. Configured the system, network etc. etc.
However when I rebooted all I got on the screen was a pair of
nines that filled the screen ( 99 99 99 99 etc. ) then it booted into windows...

Does anyone know whats going on or how to fix this....I did the installation 3 times and got the same result... What am I doing wrong????

TIA

Did you get a chance to choose what OS you wanted to boot to through lilo? Sounds like it just boots to Windows without giving you the option to boot to Slack.

Check your lilo.conf .

Did you create a boot disk to at least boot into Slack to reconfigure, etc?

If not, boot with the installation cd and at the boot: prompt type:

linux root=/dev/hdX

Where the X is your partition number of your root partition you created.. like it could be /dev/hda3 or whatever..

And then if that gets you booted into Slack, post your lilo.conf file and we'll see if anything looks fishy, maybe reinstalling it or whatever. Did you install lilo to the MBR or the /boot partition?

Let us know.
