I want to install skype on my FC5 install. Not a problem in itself - i hope! However, on checking the SKYPE site, there is only an RPM for FC3. Should I wait for an FC5 version? I dint like to install the FC3 version as I am new to this & didnt want to bugger up my install......
I went to the site - looks v interesting. I tried installing klik & then pressed the Skype link. A message popped up saying I needed to install "ar". I suppose its one of the dependencies. I went to the terminal & typed:
yum install ar
It went and did a load of stuuf, but returned the message "nothing to do".
