SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported

Anyone know what this error is and how to make it go away? I'm trying to install linksys WPC11 v4 and having an awful time. I used the Mandriva Linux Control Center to install the NET8180.INF driver using ndiswrapper. While I was congratulated for finishing the installation, the card doesn't see any networks or if it does (sometimes it sees them), it will not connect.

Suggestions?

Thank you, Agrouf. That tip didn't work. I've tried it and the sourceforge wiki and neither one has helped.
