i would choose Arch.
its very nice distro with good wiki pages.
and you can make a streamlined, minimal installation easily.
I want to like arch but the problem is that it gives me unknown errors when launching things like steam it gives me xterm command not found when trying to launch

Arch calls itself a DIY distro - it's aimed at people who enjoy investigating and resolving such issues. If you're not such a person (or simply wish to spend time on other things), you are less likely to enjoy Arch and should choose something different.
As noted, the best option is to try a number of popular distros - but also note what you like/dislike about each of them, so if after trying a handful you still can't decide then post what you've tried along with those notes and people may be able to guide you towards something more suitable.
Ok i have tried these distros:
Arch - not for me due to error after error
EndavourOS - nice due to its interface and makes arch easy for me will keep in mind
Manjaro - chose this due to being recommended by valve and not bad but sometimes can crash when afk and sometimes becomes slow but i will also keep this in mind
Distros i will try:
Pop OS: i will definitely try this since i heard alot of good stuff about it and heard its good for gaming and sort of like its interface
Ubuntu: same as above
Linux mint: i took a look at it and watched a couple of reviews and it isnt that bad
Ok i have came down to 3 distros
Manjaro- like the design and seems nice however updates can break os
Pop os-I love this OS really good but the refresh problem where dragging is slow
And Ubuntu- Like pop os its nice however sometimes it can be little slow
I decided that i sadly shouldnt use manjaro due to sometimes updates can break the OS entirely so i came down to pop os and ubuntu
Pop! is based on Ubuntu (and both use Gnome/Gnome-based desktops), so the slowness may well have similar causes with both. (I don't use either so can't suggest any other similar ones to consider.)
If you want to try and figure out the slowness issues, you should check whatever system monitors those have to see if cpu/ram/disk io/other are high (either in general or when slowness occurs), and go from there.
If there isn't an obvious cause and you need to start a new thread about it, inxi -Fz can provide relevant hardware information.

Really? I have been using Manjaro for about three years now, updating nearly daily, and have not had an update break the system yet. How did you do that?

I havent done anything tbh it just broke on its own

Yeah im currently troubleshooting it right now im testing it on a virtual machine so it possible due to it being on a virtual machine but other than that i like both pop and ubuntu
