Question Shell startup files


Hi there,
Can you tell me what the Shell startup files are? Where are they located? Do they work same way as Autoexec.bat on Win? Thanks in advance!

Be so kind and type 'man <your_shell_name>'. Look for section 'FILES'.

Also, the autoexec.bat is more similar to the rc.* files on a linux or unix system.
