saving Linux terminal's contents??

Hi everybody,

I'm using Linux terminal to run a simulation software which displays all the processing & tracing contents in the terminal but I cant display the early results because the terminal window can only show the recent ones.

how can i view/save the old terminal displayed contents?

Pipe the output through the tee command, which displays standard output, and writes to a file you name.
<command> | tee somefile.txt

Then you can review the file at your leisure.
