sar report


I'm checking the sar report, and CPU idle utilization is 60%, is it acceptable?

No. Something is wasting your CPU. It should be within 5-10% for dual core systems.

Depends on the use-case of the machine. And you
can easily use top to find out just WHAT is using
CPU. There's no generic answer to your question,
even though the previous poster seemed to think so ;D
