Question Running Android OS on Centos 7

Hello, I'm trying to run Android OS on a centos VPS following this tutorial:
I've done all this via ssh with no remote desktop access, after the installation i have a Android directory with various files in it.

Then it says
Quote:
Volá! Now you are ready with android x86 desktop O.S.
Reboot and you will see a boot entry with Android x86 tag
So I've rebooted and logged back in via ssh but its still on centos, i did not see any boot entry with Android x86 tag, although I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

I'm not sure where to go from here to get android working.

From those instructions it looks like you will need console / remote desktop access.

When you reboot your instance you'll need to select the relevant option from the grub boot menu. You'll only see this with a remote desktop.

If you're running this on a "rented" VPS that only provides SSH access you're out of luck.

Edit: You'll also most likely find that your VPS provider doesn't allow you to modify boot options and boot in to a different OS than that provided. VPS's are a strange hybrid of virtualization and I would find it extremely unlikely that what you're trying to do will work on a VPS. It may possibly work on a rented dedicated server, or one where you've much more control over the virtualization platform.

Hello and thank you for your reply.

My VPS provider does provide some scope to modify boot options
