Rubbish bin will not launch from Cairo-Dock

I have just upgraded from Mint 18.3 to Mint 19, everything seems fine except that when I click on the rubbish bin icon on the Cairo-Dock it will not launch.
I can open the file manager & access the rubbish bin from there but when something I have always used stops working I would like to understand why.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks.

Hi:

Yes I have experienced that and it's very annoying.
In my case it was because a plug in was missing and that's why my home directory wouldn't launch from the cairo-dock.

Yup, me too.

Installing cairo-dock-gnome-integration-plug-in did the trick for me in Mint 19.
