RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument

OS: Fedora Core 5

Hello,

At bootup, I see

eth0: OK
RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument

What does it mean? Is there something wrong that I should check/know about?

Many thanks.

Hi,

Mate clear the static route under the SYSTEM-->NETWORK-->ETH0--> ROUTE..

once you have done that save and restart the network serivces in the command line to validate.

service network restart

Shutting down interface eth0: [ OK ]
Shutting down loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up loopback interface: [ OK ]
Bringing up interface eth0: [ OK ]
