RH9 Install prob (pre and post)

Hi
1) I have 1 P-4, 128RD RAM,Geforce-2. I have installed RH9.0 and it was fine. But the next day it just hangs while booting at the point where it goes like:...apm: bios version ...... I had no idea what to do then I disconnected my USB mouse and put a PS2 one and it gave no trouble. How can I get my USB mouse working?

2) I have anotha ACER desktop which got USB keyboard, mouse and soundbox. Now when i try to install Linux it doesn't go further after printing something like USB-uhci... how can I solve this problem?

3) Just curious that is there any way to supply kernel the parameter at runtime about USB modules?
Thnx in advance

What happens if you remove the USB mouse, reboot the computer and after you see the login prompt, insert the USB mouse again?

For boot options in Red Hat Linux 9 for the Linux kernel you can check out the following site :

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...-bootopts.html

You may want to try the following option :

nousb

This command disables the loading of USB support during the installation. If the installation program tends to hang early in the process, this command may be helpful.
