Accept update of "breath icon theme" in system update is a must ? If i don't care any of this outward appearance stuff.
If i say NO to the useless icon themes update, will it be consider as PARTIAL system update (which is to say NO GOOD by arch ?) ?

Try removing plasma5-themes-breath before the upgrade.

Q1.
Can you please tell me, if i click "no" to NOT replace "breath2-icon-themes" during "pacman -Syu" does it consider as partial upgrade/ update ? will it causes breakage ?
if that is just some icon bitmap changes from a to b; then i don't have to update it, because i am fine with the existing icons.
Your direct reply will help me a lot, i can get the work done quicker.. as i don't need to take another route to this issue. Thanks
Q2.
I need to know so that i won't remove a theme that is in use; and cause more trouble than i can handle.
How do i know which Theme is currently in use ?
When i opened it, it shows not which is currently choosen/ in use.
A2:
No idea, I don't use KDE. I though you don't care any of this outward appearance stuff?
Yes, i don't care about all these fancy icon and color theme stuff.. if i want fancy delusive stuff, i would go for windoze system already )
I just don't want it to break, and give me more work to do thus waste my time.
Linux suppose to be productive,.. but so far it has being only stiff learning curve to , not productive at all. lol. But i know it is just because i am a newbie.

That image shows that you are currently using the Breath2 2021 theme. See how it has a different color ring around it than all the others do? That shows that it is the current theme.
I wonder why you are so adamant about the theme. That update message is simply telling you that it is replacing an existing theme package with an update that has a newer name. The theme is already installed and storage space is allocated so there is no problem unless you (in your mind) make it a problem.
If that theme is in use then likely removing it will cause a problem. If not then no problem.
I have a very bad past with theme update on EOS linux before..
The whole theme changed after update.. causing me no idea how to navigate in gui to system settings...
If not wrong, the upgrade of themes changes how windows shadow and colors of software appears to be.. And due to the upgrade, i have no idea where to change it , and i was in desperate to get work done.. Very very bad impression.. Hence when i saw themes i got spook out. i rather not having to face the same shit again.

I don't think so.. the color different was most likely due to mouse hover over. I have taken another screenshot of the same thing.. there is not different in color around it this time.

I allow it to replace, but it itself said will break dependency because KDE need it..
Am i suppose to change to other theme for it to upgrade/ update ?
