Remove Linux from a dual boot - XP-Linux

Hi,

I have a dual boot linux and Windows XP. I need to remove linux and keep XP. but I have installed GRUB at MBR, I first installed XP and then Linux.

Any suggestions or steps to follow this please?

Not sure why you'd want to remove Linux after you've registered yourself. You boot with a rescue CD for Windows and issue the command 'fix mbr' without the quotes.

Not sure why you want to do it however, boot from a windows Cd enter rescue mode, type fixmbr and the mbr will be rewritten. Then reboot go to windows and format the partition from the disk management utility.

Just wanted to tell you that I never ended up doing this. I left Windows since then and have always been Windows free.
