remote installation


Hi,

How to install the oracle software from windows xp to linux by ssh.
what are the requirement for that?

you will need an ssh client application. You need to transfer the installation files to the linux system. then ssh to it and execute the setup executable. Does the installation require a GUI interface? in that case you would need and X server running on you windows server.

I'd suggest you look into cygwin. Or putty if all you need is a text-based interface.
