Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 : versions available

Hi!

I've just started downloading Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.It is the 30-day trial version.
Filename of iso is rhel-server-6.0-x86_64-dvd.iso

I was wondering if there are workstation or client versions of RHEL6 too.

Or, they have merged everything in a single iso like windows vista/7 ?

Thanks.

The short answer to your question is "yes."

The long answer is that everything you need to know about Red Hat is available at http://redhat.com

https://www.redhat.com/wapps/store/catalog.html
https://engage.redhat.com/forms/cont...t_sales&eid=21

Thanks for replying.

ok then why only rhel-server-6.0-x86_64-dvd.iso ?
Why don't they have something like rhel-workstation-6.0-x86_64-dvd.iso or rhel-client-6.0-x86_64-dvd.iso?

Who are you going to trust, redhat.com or some Chinese website called "windows8-key.com"?

Red Hat Enterprise Linux is NOT free software, and the best place I know to buy a subscription is from redhat.com.

But do as you please.

ps If you are looking for a free-of-charge alternative to RHEL, consider using CentOS, Scientific Linux, Fedora, etc.

See post #2. The answer to your question is "yes; server, workstation, and client versions of RHEL6 are available for purchase from redhat.com."
