realtek wifi drivers


Can anyone give me the terminal commands used to install realtek wifi drivers in debian 7? Thank You.

Unpack the tarball. Inside, there is a Readme file with step by step instructions.

If it's a .deb right-click & select gbedi to install it for you.

On a terminal type the following:
Code:
sudo apt-get install firmware-realtek
Or, if you prefer, you can execute that command as root leaving out the "sudo" part.

I used dpkg -i packagename from root.
