-is the delivered rpm file (RealPlayer10Gold.rpm) an exec .bin?

<actual work dir $> rpm -ivp RealPlayer10Gold.rpm
'-->/RealPlayer/fullDir/cannot open packg database in /var/lib/rpm'

-does it help to use?:

<actual work dir $>rpm -dbpath /dir/toDb RealPlayer10Gold.rpm
<actual work dir $>rpm -OldPath=NewPath RealPlayer10Gold.rpm
