Exclamation Re-enable an expired account

I installed RedHat 9 on a Dell PowerEdge server 2 months ago and created several accounts at that time. When trying to login using those accounts yesterday, I was unable to log in and got the following message:

"Read from remote host www-math2: Connection reset by peer
Connection to www-math2 closed."

I checked the message log (/etc/log/messages) which gave the following:

"Apr 16 08:26:55 www-math2 sshd(pam_unix)[3083]: account xxxxxxxx has expired (failed to change password)"

I don't remember receiving any notification that the password was about to expire. How do I re-enable these accounts?
