Raid 5 in a Dell 2950 with 6x500gb hdd's and it just won't work.....

Can anyone help me on this. I can get the server to accept raid 10 which makes me think it is the amount of TB that Cent OS 5 64 bit (my OS) can handle but this problem is completely new to me so I have no clue! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to make it work in a raid 5 configuration. Thanks

we found the problem....if you are running a server with raid 5 it has parity of more than the allowed amount of TB that the OS can handle. You need to install from disk and then you can change the partition scheme. Thanks to all those who looked at this and to those who will!
