program to edit quicktime files?


Hey, is there a program that allows me to edit quicktime files that i upload from my digital camera?

if none of those allow editing of quicktime, i believe you can use mplayer ( http://www.mplayerhq.hu/ ) to convert .mov to avi or mpeg and then edit them.

transcode ( http://zebra.fh-weingarten.de/~transcode/ ) also does video format conversion as well as other things. i can't say if any of this stuff will do what you want, but that's what i know about video work with linux
