I added some applets to the taskbar that didn't have a "remove button" facility associated with them. So I had to use the "remove all" on the taskbar context menu, ("Remove From Panel>Applet>All"). Ever since then when I minimize an application it doesn't show up on the taskbar. It's effectively lost. Does anybody know how I can can get this capability back?

I did a quick fix from the taskbar context menu, ("Add New Panel>External Taskbar"). This allows me to see minimized apps. But I'd like to get back that capability to display minimized apps on the regular taskbar.

PS. I have Suse 10.1 and I'm using KDE.

Hmm, I cannot help you with it, but i'll give you a hint that improve the capacity for others to help you : please precise what is your distro, what destktop (KDE ? Gnome ? Other ?) you are running.
