Unhappy problem with netbeans after executing iptables commands


hello..i am new to linux....
i have created a user interface using netbeans which consist of a table in which we can add or delete values...
first form is the login form..
when i first execute the frames..they execute successfully and i m nt having any problems...and the output is displayed..
but when i execute iptable command in the root..that is:

root@saish-AcerPower-Series:/home/saish# iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 8080 -j NFQUEUE --queue-num 0
root@saish-AcerPower-Series:/home/saish# iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -j NFQUEUE

when i execute these commands..the user interface..stop working..!!!
can anyone please tell me whats wrong...in simple words...

In other words, your Netbeans configuration is obviously using a port you're blocking with iptables.

So don't block it

PS:
I'm guessing the problem is with Glassfish. I'm also guessing that you want Netbeans for doing J2EE development. In which case, you probably *want* to use Glassfish. Just keep the port enabled, and Life should be Good
