Problem sometimes waking up laptop after sleep - Linux Mint 19.2
Hi all, I sometimes have a problem waking up my laptop when it goes into sleep mode by either closing the lid or just leaving it unattended. It doesn't do it all the time so it is hard to recreate.
When it does happen, I start typing my password into the text box and it will take the first letter then nothing. It just hangs. I think I can enter one letter and then nothing.
I do a Ctrl-Alt-F1 and login ok and then I have to shut it down with the shutdown command to restart.
Is there any other way around this? It seems, it's not linux but the Window Manager is it Cinnammon? Because the text login screen works perfectly on the terminal. Is there a command other than shutdown where I can restart the window manager? Or is there any other things to try?
Other than that the laptop is fantastic, i3, 8GB, 500GB SSD Fujitsu Lifebook.
thanks in advance
