If that's the case then I hate to think how that initial question looked like because you've added absolutely nothing
to help us help you... So here's some questions:
- what's the host and guest OS you use?
- did you follow all instructions?
- were the vmware tools drivers built and loaded OK?
- how did you mount the share?
- did you verify the mount command worked OK?
- did the mount command return any errors?
- did you check your vmware server and client logs, the vmware knowledge base and communities forum for clues?
