Smile please give the steps to install moodle in fedora 9


i have downloaded the moodle zip file and xampp for server.
please give me the steps how to install and start running moodle on fedora 9

Before installing the application I suggest you upgrade your Fedora. Fedora 9 has been out of support for a while now and is open to security threats. Try either Fedora 12 or 13.

Hello,

LinuxQuestions is not the place to come to when in need of tutorials, step by step, copy/paste, ready made stuff. For that you turn to Google. A quick Google search turns up this link:

I'm sure you can find one for xampp.

And as indicated by alli_yas, your version is pretty old, better upgrade.

Why not use fedora 15.

Or better...Fedora 16, since that's the latest. And you do realize that this thread is well over A YEAR OLD, and you re-opened it, don't you?
