Unhappy pgadmin3

Hi!

I use slackware and installed postgreSQL and pgadmin3. The postgre is working just fine but I can't start pgadmin3. I use a package *tgz and the installation was good but how start pgadmin3? The installation doesn't create a shortcut on menu and on command line pgadmin3 don't work.

Whose tgz did you install? What does is say where the binary went?
I wouldn't expect most slackware tarballs to create menu entries.
Code:
less /var/log/packages/pgadmin*

Cheers,
Tink

On a terminal when I type pgadmin3 I get "bash: /usr/bin/pgadmin3: No such file or directory".

And does the file exist? If it does, what does ldd /path/to/pgadmin3 say?
What is your architecture?

Hi friend.

The file is there. When I type in the diretory that has pgadmin3, the message is "bash:/usr/bin/pgadmin3 no such file or diretory". strange, and the command "ldd /path/to/pgadmin3" produce the same message. I dont undertand. The PC is a AMD 64 bits, slackware 13.37.

thanks

Hmm ... what about "od -a /usr/bin/pgadmin3"? Or even a plain old
"ls -l /usr/bin/pgadmin3"?
