Exclamation Permissions issue running backups with fwbackups

Hi everyone.

Quick permission question - I have CentOS 6.4 with software RAID 1. mounted at /media/data and shared with samba. After creating the array I run the following to apply permissions for share users:
Code:
chown -R root.shareusers /media/share_data
chmod 775 /media/share_data
chmod 2775 /media/share_data
I need to backup this directory to the network drive but getting permissions errors for every file:
Code:
rsync: send_files failed to open "/media/share_data/printer_scans/110414104704_0001.pdf": Permission denied (13)
Any idea what permissions should be applied?

Thanks

Are you a member of the group shareusers? If you have just added yourself to that group you need to logout and login for it to take effect.

"Any idea what permissions should be applied?"

Check what permissions you actually have with these commands:

ls - l /media
ls - l /media/share_data
ls - l /media/share_data/printer_scans
