Paritioning guide for Triple boot Windows XP, Ubuntu and Arch Linux

Hi,

I have dual boot on my laptop with

Windows XP in first two partitions (75 GB NTFS )

100 GB shared NTFS

Ubuntu (50 GB)
100 MB /boot
4 GB Swap
25 GB / (ext4)
21 GB home (ext4)

I have 25 GB free in which I want to install Arch Linux. I need guidline for partitioning 25 GB for Arch Linx.

My question is can I share Swap between Ubuntu and Arch Linux? I have never did triple boot before.

Yes, you can share the swap. In all likelihood the UUID will change and Ubutu won't boot.
If that happens, fix the Ubuntu fstab from Arch.

Did you mean, using same swap memory for both ubuntu and Arch Linux ? if it is, then the answer is yes. we can use a common swap memory.

reply back if you have any questions on this !
