open html page and store contents in file from console


Hello , I want to open an xml file from webpage and store it to a local file but I don't know which command does this..

Thanks in advance

You can use wget to grab just about any file or page on the net. Just run "wget http://example.com/url-for-the-file.xml" and it will store a copy of the file in the current working directory.
