Well, I am now running Knoppix 3.6.

I am still having trouble getting the driver installed, but I am trying to install DriverLoader and I am just about there, I am installing it using KPackage, but it is asking me for a password. The problem is that I never set a password or entered one anywhere since I started using the Live CD, so, is there a default one? I think I can get somewhere from here but I need the password to get past where I am at now. Can anyone help me out?

The password on knoppix should just be nothing, if i remember right.

And the weird install procedure for those wireless drivers is pretty much standard procedure for any compile from scratch, so it's well worth learning.

Well, if you read through this thread, you will see that I'm not having much luck with the traditional driver installation procedure, and also, the password can't be nothing because I hit OK with a blank Password: prompt and it said that was an invalid password. It seems to me like there's got to be a default password. Thanks though. Any other ideas? Maybe I'm entering NOTHING incorrectly...???
