Question Not getting suspend to disk in slakware


Hi all,

This is kumar.I recompiled the slakware 12 with CONFIG_HOTPLUG_CPU and CONFIG_SMP support, But i am getting standby and mem states only. How can I get suspend to disk.

In /sysfs/power/ directory i want to get disk file along with standby and mem files.

If any one knows pls help me.

Usually you need to pass 'resume=/dev/<swap>' to kernel on boot.
Then 'echo disk > /sys/power/state'
