Post NFS Server Timeout

Hi,
I am having a PowerPC based embedded system, which boots with root file system from a Red Hat Linux Desktop Machine.

Whenever I bootup using NFSboot, the PowerPC machine boots up fine, but after 1hr and 30minutes, I get the message saying that "NFS Server Not responding" and it hangs.

Please advice, Is it possible for me to increase the timeout period?
