Newbie Screen Resolution Help

Hello all. I just installed RH Linux 7.3 on my pc today. In the install I chose GRUB (because it sounded cooler than LILO) and I installed KDE. I am learning my way around the OS but the screen resolution is set tiny. Text is very small and hard to read.

Where do I go to adjust the screen resolution to something like 800x600 or something similar to make the screen bigger?

Thanks,
Anthony

hi anthonylmin, welcome to lq. have you tried rerunning your x configuration, and changing the modes section to something like 324? alternatively you could manually edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config file, or possibly look at increasing your font sizes from kde. hope this gives you some ideas.
good luck.

For a quick resolution change, do a [CTRL] [ALT] [+] or [CTRL] [ALT] [-] key combination.
