New Suse 9.0 1st boot, error INIT

Hello,
I finally took out my hard drive and put it in another computer to get Suse loaded cause my cd rom wouldn't boot for installation. I got it installed and put back the hard drive and when I first tried to boot it started like it was going to boot and then stopped and keeps saying,
INIT: ID "2" respawning to fast disable 5 minutes
INIT: ID "4" respawning to fast disable 5 minutes
ect. ect.
Sorry this is my first time and It has taken me 3 weeks to get this far does anyone know why it is doing this and how can I get back into the setup or configuration, during installation on most of the config choices I choose configure later so I could get the right settings once I got it back in the computer, Thanks again , Hoping to be joining you all soon in the Linux World...

You could try installing it on the machine you want to use it on (did that make sense?). It shouldn't be too hard, even if you don't have a bootable drive. There should be some floppy disk images on the CD that you can use to get the system started. Open up the CD and look in the folder boot. There should be a file like this that tells you how to make boot floppies. This way you can have two floppies that tells the SuSE installation programme to look for a SuSE CD and install from that.
