Need to Disable APM Bios detection

should i go through expert mode?

Booting always hangs up on APM Bios Detection, even when I append the boot with apm=off

Ive tried Enabling and Disabling Acpi with no results...

Anyone know how I can fix this so I can get this greatlookin

Mandrake 9.2(RC2) up and running???????

Any replies will be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.
