Need a linux driver for a wireless card


hello,

I have the following wireless card and I need a linux driver for it:

i tried contacting the company, but apperaently no one speaks english there.

can anyone help?

You'll need to give us an actual manufacturer name and NIC model and version number. Preferably, if you can determine the actual chipset used in the NIC, that is most helpful. There's nothing in the HCL for "cameo" that I can see. Maybe someone else knows what you are talking about.

Hello navom1

We'll need to try and get some more information on the card.

You don't say if it's pci, usb or pcmcia, so try these two commands and if you see anything that looks as if it might be to do with your card copy and paste it back in a post.

Code:
/sbin/lspci

/sbin/lsusb
Obviously if you have a usb device you won't need to bother with the first command and if you have pci, not the second.

You might also say what distribution you are using, it may help when making suggestions.
