nautilus launcher

I am trying to put a new nautilus "launcher" on my desktop that will open up my documents folder in tmy home directory, i put the command in: /home/user/documents and and then choose an icon, but when i double click the new icon i get the error:

Nautilus has no installed viewer capable of displaying "/home/user/.gnome-desktop/docs.desktop".

thats not the path i put in maybe thats the problem ?

dunno im lost

did you only put "/home/user/documents" as the command ? did you put what to open it with preceding it ?
example :
nautilus /home/user/documents
or
konqueror /home/user/documents
to name a couple of different ways ....
