Nagios Installation


Hello Friends,

I am having individual Linux server and need to install nagios monitoring tool on the server . Please guide me how to install on this linux server.


I am using CentOS

Need to to monitor mysql and http services. Please let us know the exact steps to perform this.

Go to www.nagios.org, read the complete documentation, downlad packages for your distro, install the software, configure as explained in the documentation, come back if there are any real problem with logfile entries and your question.

This is a forum of Voluntary useres. If you are looking for commercial support you are able to find a consultant in your country which will help you.

Definitely you should read how to as a question the smart way.

Hello,

This site should be your first starting point. LQ is not a place to ask for step by step installation guides or howtos. You have the internet and search engines like Google to provide those. When you have trouble following one of the found guides, that's when you turn to LQ for answers.
