mysql_daemon_user=???

I have been following the vBulletin guide for installing the vBulletin forum software on my Slackware box. I installed Apache and PHP, but when i get to this step:

Quote:
Assuming you've set up a special MySQL user to run the MySQL server, you'll need to edit the mysql.server script before you use it. Open it in your favorite text editor and change the mysql_daemon_user setting to refer to the user you created above:

mysql_daemon_user=mysqlusr
Note: mysqlusr is "the user i created above".

I opened up my mysql.server file, but i could not find any mention of mysql_daemon_user - not even the word user! What am i doing wrong??
