My usb stick is playing up again. I presed control+s to save a Kate tx file and Kate froze
I prssed alt key and new and it made a dupliacte of the Kate txt file both are identical and frozen.
The usb plasma desktop says it mounted.
I went into dolphin and I did not see any yellow folders for the usb, I did see a blue bar on the bottom right of the screen saying "loading" 0 folders 0 files after clicking the usb icon in dolphin for the usb.
It's the same usb that I had problems just recently and got my files back when it started working again in a different slot.
I stuck in another usb and click mount and that said accessing but went back to saying mount in the plasma icon bottom far right of screen. I won't switch off the pc in the meantime. System Load is hovering around 40%-45% of CPU. It's normally lower when the problem with usb is no happening.

If you have SystemD and journalctl, you can monitor logging in real time. For a howto, see this link and scroll down to the "Follow or Tail" section.
I got:
Code:
└──╼ $journalctl -f
Hint: You are currently not seeing messages from other users and the system.
Users in groups 'adm', 'systemd-journal' can see all messages.
Pass -q to turn off this notice.

I think the problem occurred about 30-60 min before the start times listed above. Is it ok to close the terminal window when I see
Code:
The program 'journalctl' is currently running in this session. Are you sure you want to close it?

The 2nd usb appears to be working but not the other usb that I want, that is still in never ending 'loading' mode according to the bottom right icon of dolphin. I think it's something to do with Kate editor control+S, as my previous issues with this usb occurred with kate editor. Should I click 'stop loading'? Unlike last time, I can't see any yellow folders.
The 2nd usb I am able to view files fine, but it's not unmounting and I would like it unmounted. I see a never ending green twirl beside it's icon. I am still able to view it's contents whilst it does this. But usb#2 is not my priority, Usb #1 is, I need to see it's folders again populated within dolphin file manager.
