my garmin sat nav dose detach fro Linux to my windows 10 virtual box


HI All
When I plug my dezl LGV 700 sat nav recognizes the model them auto open when
I close the file.
I them started virtual box my windows 10 them on top click on devices drop down menu click on Garmin show it's connected but in windows them open garmin express dose not detect the devices but minimizes still show in Linux still
connect never had this with my nuvi465 sat nav if switch between windows and Linux dose not show that icon on my desktop but when shut down windows then evently it's appear on my desktop them files open .I am using Linux Mint

Have you installed VirtualBox extension pack? The extension pack will add functionality to be able to access USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices.

Yes I have install latest extension pack still no joy seems like new garmin devices use MTP
When first plug my sat nav in Linux the device appear on desktop and auto open the file
I close the file them start virtual box windows 10 drop menu tick garmin shows it's connect
shows windows file the what connected when I minimize the virtual box says on unable to open device

You can only connect a USB device to one system at a time. Either the host or guest but not simultaneously.
