Question mouse pad disabled after dual boot windows xp/fedora 13

Hi,
I have just dual booted my old laptop with windows xp home ed and Fedora (xp was installed first). When I boot to Fedora OS to fill in initial settings (user name, password, network etc) to get it up and running the mousepad doesn't work (there is no cursor). It still works fine in Windows. Anyone know how to get this sorted? The laptop is an HP Pavillion ze2000. No external USB mouse or similar has been used.
Thanks!

Not enough information. Did you reboot from Windows to Linux? Or straight into Linux from a dead stop (hard boot)? What is the output of running the lspci command? You might try a USB mouse.

Hi, got this sorted eventually. Used keyboard to finish off (external mouse did not work either, I had tried that) installation and after restart the mousepad was working. All good, thanks!
