Mouse needs reconfiguring, it doesn't work.

I installed Feather Linux on my computer(I shall call this COMP1) just today. Although, in order to do so, I had to take the hard drive out of the computer to have it installed on and put it into a computer with a working CD-ROM drive(I shall call this COMP2). It configured everything on its own asa it probably should. Once I put the hard drive back into COMP1 and started it up, I noticed the mouse wouldn't work. It is still configured to use the mouse on COMP2. Can I reconfigure Feather Linux to use the mouse on COMP1 and how?

if that distro uses X.org then you can edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. there is a section in there for mouse. or you can run 'xorgconfig' as root and reboot

or also try running mouseconfig as root
