Arrow Motion Run Error

How can I fix that error?

Question An Error

I use motion sw. on Kubuntu 10.10.

did you look to see if there is a pid file already there ?
a crash or forced shutdown can cause then to NOT be removed on shutdown

As a root
I created the directory using :

mkdir /var/run/motion
then change the permission and it works el7mdllah.

chmod a+rwxt /var/run/motion
