Unhappy motherboard question

can anyone please tell me if the new AMD Double Data Rate (DDR) is compatabled with mandrake 8.0
is Biostar M7MIA motherboard compatable with mandrake 8.0

As far as I know, most of the time there are not many problems with MB's themselves with Linux, its other hardware that has problems. What chipset does the motherboard use? That will be the best indication if its gonna work or not.

it's got onboard audio , so you may want to add a sound card, other than that i don't see any problems.

nice mobo, may have to get one
