Arrow mesg problem

i need write permission to konsole.

is n

mesg: error: tty device is not owned by group `tty'
[staff@Simlab-node3 staff]$

what abt this error?pls ?

Exactly what it says ...
Check who owns the
/dev/pts*
/dev/tty*
you're working on.

ps -a u
should tell you which /dev/ you're on, then ls -l
that for details ... :)
