Very new to this..I had a computer with win2k and it is now strictly a Mepis 6.5 OS. Windows is gone, period
I'm still getting familiar with the system and will surely be back for
some answers.
In browsing through the forum here, I was surprised to find out how many people are concerned about security.
My understanding was that it was pretty darn secure without all the programs running in the background.ie Anti-spyware, Anti-virus, Firewalls etc. I'm on a two machine router in the same home and thought that was enough protection for what I do. I apologize for making this so long and probably boring to most of you. I'll refrain from this in the future. Thanks
