mandrake 9.0 and mysql

i am trying to set up a MySQL server from my mandrake system, but i cannot access the server configuration index from the mandrake control center. how can i get the index put in the control center?

i don't believe i've ever seen a control center thinggy for mysql... but if there is one, then someone will post it for sure...

why don't you use a web-based interface to configure your mysql server (plus everything else)??? this way you can configure from anywhere on your lan or on the planet...

(you can install webmin from the mandrake control center)
